Local News Alberta

On March 4, 2015 Samajkantha Online Inc. held a simple inauguration ceremony at the premises of the Bangladesh PressClub Centre of Alberta (BPCA) for the release of a new magazine project called Diverse Edmonton, which can be visited online at www.diverseedmonton.ca.

Diverse Edmonton is a local city magazine with articles about people, facts and life in Edmonton, Alberta. The team behind the project is eager to introduce interesting people, organizations and projects that make the city great, and further they will seek for cool and unique things to do which can be enjoyed by the whole family.

Delwar Jahid, the publisher of Samajkantha, the Voice of Society, and now Diverse Edmonton presided the meeting, which was attended amoung others by Tomal Islam (former Vice President of BHESA), Ahsan Ullah (former General Secretary of BHESA), Masud Bhuiyan (General Secretary of BHESA), Anamur Rahman (Joint Secretary of BHESA), Syfur Hasan (Publisher of Asian News and Views), Dollin Islam, Riya Karin, and Shoha Islam.

Inauguration of the Diverse Edmonton Magazine

Publisher Delwar Jahid from Samajkantha Online Inc. hands over a reward for the implementation of the Diverse Edmonton Magazine to Andy Strohkirch of Shores Canada Ltd.

In a discussion Delwar Jahid pointed on the importance of the right to information we Canadians enjoy, and which is an essential factor of freedom for all human beings. The beauty of living in a place like Edmonton is the inspiration behind the new media, and it is the vision of the team for Diverse Edmonton to become a rich source with insiders’ information, topics and concerns of its residents.
